I am trying to help a friend locate an exhaust manifold for his 1937 120. His is warped and the butterfly valve is broken.

When you find a used one, it will probably be warped as well and require surface grinding to correct. And repairing the heat riser valve isn't usually much of a challenge. You may be better off with the one you have?

Don - I have NOS heat riser flaps and shafts if you go that route. If the manifold ain't cracked, should not be a headache to restore...and yes to suggestion to have it faced - good seal for fresh gaskets anyway.

Would you have the weight that's attached to the shaft on the manifold side for a 1938, 120 8 cyl? Don't know if it's the same as the 37?
