Packard did offer visor mirrors but from what I see in the accessory books the offerings tended to have more of an oval or rounded corner shape instead of square corners. Maybe the square corner was 20s or early 30s. Here is what was offered from mid 30s & late 30s books. The late 30s style apparently carried thru at least 54 but they stopped offering the pencil at some point during that time.

Don't know if it's the same company but See Rite Specialty Manufacturing in Brooklyn NY was the maker of sidemount mirrors of the early/mid 1930s used by Packard and other car manufacturers.

Thanks for the informative replies. I found reference to the Specialty Manufacturing Co., of Brooklyn, filing for a trademark on the "See Rite" name in the mid-1920s. So the mirror could indeed date to that decade or the early 30s.
