Been busy with Christmas decorations outside, haven't had much free time for the Packard. Motor is done, flywheel resurfaced, pressure plate rebuilt and looks brand new. All new brakes, new SS brake lines on the front, chassis scraped of 80 years of grease and dirt and has been POR 15'd. Floor boards, brushed, welded in repair panels and used POR 15 and some fiberglass to seal it.
Next step, probably next week, marry engine to bell housing, tranny and drop it back in. Hope I recall where all the return springs go!

Sounds great John. I too have been 'called away' from Packard tinkering; for me it's getting the winter's firewood cut, split and stacked. Still getting a few things done on the car though. Be interested to know how the 'insertion' goes for you when you drop 'er back in. Good luck. Chris.
