The article starting on the third page of this service letter seems to say that depending on flywheels, pressure plates are not interchangeable but I believe I remember a later bulletin where they were going to issue service flywheels that could take either brand. It would seem the discs might be interchangeable although the November bulletin says the B&B disc would have a harder pedal on 110-120s.

Thanks, Howard, so I know these are not interchangeable now. And that 3 flywheels for the 356 engines were used for(1) Long, (2) B&B, and (3)Both.
These figures show the Long in Fig 6 (the one in the illustration matches the worn driving plate in the photo) and the Borg&Beck Fig 4 (matches the rebuilt one). It appears my flywheel has holes for the Long only, but the illustration (the Motors Manual is from 1948) shows more holes in the flywheel, so perhaps this is the flywheel that works for both clutches, something to look for if you have a 356. I imagine I could use this B&B driving plate as an exchange for a Long. I'll have to ask the usual suspects.
