Thank you. Admit I'm pretty excited to see the flavor of the thing coming out. The raft of details necessary when modifying the proportions of a car is daunting.
This week I'll begin on mods to the doors. Inner hinge structure seems to makes it impossible to have the one piece side windows from the rendering.

Bummer. And there doesn't appear to be any easy solutions. If you don't mind, made a few quick mods to your original rendering to help visualize options. And am not buying or selling anything here. The first shows how the vent window might look.
Second has '55/56 wrapped windshield that might extend far enough rearward to clear the obstruction. But this is opening up a huge can can of worms in money and time. Third is back to the vent window but lengthens rest of glass to help balance it all out. Again, cost and time including acquiring and sectioning coupe doors and marrying quarter panel surfaces. And its venturing further from the theme and walking away from work already accomplished. If I come up with any genuinely useful ideas will pass them along.

Another option, borrowed from '56 Continental Mk II design, would be to move the windshield and possibly the instrument panel back a few inches. Not easy but possibly doable in your shop without much material cost. But again, many worms let loose. Wipers would need moved rearward including all the hook-ups below surface. If I/P moved too, wiring and air ducting would need lengthened.

Too many Ultramatics to build.....at least they pay well.
Have been hacking at this thing in odd moments and finally have the top mechanism worked out--which I forgot to photograph. That gave opportunity to close the side of the car. A 54 Clipper doorskin was cut and the pieces juxtaposed to deal with the sectioning of the car. A filler panel was needed to compose the wheel well, and an old fender top finished the bottom of the quarter panel. For giggles and motivation I worked up some of jewelry that will be needed in the distant future and stuck it on the side of the car with some strong magnets. One 99 cent spray bomb made everything the same color for viewing. Pretty pleased with the effect and will make a rear stone guard as soon as I pick up some stainless. Still need to tidy up the rear inner fender.

They are a grill segment from a 47 Studebaker Commander. Yes, they are functional.
