Hello, I am told this is a 1918 Packard Midget Racer. It is from the Los Angeles area. I cannot find any information about this car. Please help with any and all ideas!

Proud 1953 Clipper Deluxe owner. Thinking about my next Packard, want a Clipper Deluxe Eight, manual shift with overdrive.

National built several quarter midgets around that time, but this looks a lot different than that. What kind of engine would it have originally had?

Thanks for the reply. By National do you mean Packard company?

The engine compartment appears to be set for an inline four. We have a Henderson 4 ready to go in.

Do you know of any pictures or manuals of midgets by Packard?

I don't know anything about these but I would doubt very much that they had anything whatsoever to do with Packard other than using a Packard grille and possibly having a Packard engine.
