Do you have any recommendations for someone to rechrome plate a Trico wiper motor?

I polished the one on my 1950 to a near chrome appearance. Just used a buffer and polishing compound.

If you really want it chromed I would contact the guys who do the rebuildsrebuildingtricowipers.com and see if they have a recommendation or if they could do it. Some types of prep or plating if done incorrectly could damage the motor to the point it would not work again.

Chrome shop would easily plug the holes with a rubber stopper. Brightworks up on Piqua is certainly capable.
brightworkrestoration.com/about/ Librandi in Harrisburg is who I usually use.

I figured it had been chrome plated at one time so I thought it could be done again. I don't know what year we're talking about but these were generally never chrome plated from the factory so if yours once was, perhaps it was aftermarket. That could be why the answers are referrals.

No chrome would be easier. Where they painted or natural pot metal finish in 1932? Thanks.
