Thank you. Actually CGJ/Brice Thomas in Alabama made the radiator. I posted both CGJ's and Griffin's interpretations of the original blue prints to show a comparison. Both Griffin and CGJ/Brice Thomas were great to work with though. Less than 11 days to make and deliver. Stay tuned.

Looks nice but where are the inlet and outlet connectors?

The side shown was the engine side. The drain is on the same side as the inlet/outlet connectors and the mounting flanges are on the opposite forward side. Looking back at the drawing, I think it's wrong with some things flip flopped to the opposite sides from where they should be.

Before you worry too much, double check as I was going from memory, Looking at some small photos just now of a 1951-1954 radiator, I really can't tell but I am fairly sure that the drain is on the engine side.

For comparison, here's a photo of the radiator for my 55 Clipper.

54 Packard Pacific / new aluminum rad / LONG mfg. vs Modine

Your input is greatly appreciated. The side shown was the front. Not the engine side. The previous picts were only the front of the rad. The new rad is to the exact specs of original 1954 senior Packard engineering blueprint sans the stamped tank. Part #'s 446509 (a/c) and 455036. I believe the junior Clippers had a Modine rad. My 54 has a Long Mfg. rad which is stated on the blueprints. The drain cock is clearly in the front of the rad as stated in the 54 service manual, visible inspection and on both blueprints. In addition, the Long Mfg. cradle brackets are clearly different than those on a Modine rad. History of Long Mfg.:

Good afternoon Howard,

Do you by chance have a 54th series radiator core mounting diagram similar to the one you posted for the 24th series radiator core mounting that shows the rubber washers? I have large rubber cushions from Steele or do you suggest JW/BigKev's idea of grommets from a Lowes toilet repair kit?
