Looks like 1956 Clipper headlight trim?
Maybe Clipper radio? The steering wheel was replaced? Looks like the hood prop rod retainer was taken off?

Yes, 1956 Clipper headlight trim -- I'm guessing to help hide either rust or rust repair. And yes, it has a radio with Clipper buttons on it. Not sure why; I'm guessing the factory ration stopped working and someone swapped it out. I don't believe the steering has been changed. The hood prop rod was removed or missing before I bought the car. I've owned the car about a year now.

Kevin,
Is the carpet original? Can you take a picture of the front?

As I have said many, many times the most original unmolested 1955 Caribbean you'll ever find is the Howard Hughes/Jean Peters car... which now lives at the National Packard Museum in Warren, Ohio. If you can't get there to take photos of this extremely low-miles Caribbean, I'm sure that the museum would be willing to help.
