West,
Did your Caribbean have any carpet in it when you got it?

I was told it was not original, and when it was taken apart several years ago, the carpet was thrown away.

West,

You requested some additional images of my carpet in my project blog thread. (thread post)

Here is a link to a google album where there is a dump of images. I put a little bit of description to keep things orientated, most are obvious.

Google Album - 55 Caribbean carpet photos (please excuse the dirt)

Hope this is helpful. I apologize for the image lighting. My cell phone is made from potatoes.

West, you can see that some of my carpet is worn and pretty bad. I am planning on removing the seats and removing the carpet for an out of car cleaning.

cleaning, cleaning, cleaning...

But in the event of it falling apart or not coming close to acceptable, I had searched for a vendor that has replacement material.

I found this company (StockInteriors) who I was going to give a shot.

Has anyone else here used these folks?

They claim to have proper patterns and their "Cut and Sewn carpets are made from OE Quality materials and are made to look and fit like the original Packard Full Size Cars".

I would love to believe their claim. I am considering them if the original carpet is too far gone.
