Various parts for sale

In the coming weeks, I will dismantle some Clippers and have some parts to sell. Some of these cars will become donors, and the rest shall be repaired/restored. Included that I know of will be some of the following:

1: 282 engine
2: 245 engine
3: 2 - 3 speeds, non-overdrive
4: 2 - rear windows and some other miscellaneous glass
5: several 4-door doors
6: 2 - electromatic clutch underhood assemblies
7: some moldings/trim

Also, I have a 1951 327 9-main engine which I may let go, too. To be determined.

I'm not entirely sure what will interchange. I will be happy to take pictures and don't intend to gouge anyone nor retire to Tahiti. Fair, equitable and win/win is all I'm after.

If any of this sounds like something you might need, either reply to this thread or PM me and we'll discuss things further. Obviously, pick-ups are easiest, but I'll ship on your dime to your address on your terms.

If you're not having fun, maybe it's your own damned fault.

They both arrived on '47s. I'm not sure what else they'fit, but my considered guess is pre-war Clippers and pregnant series cars.

I think you're right on what they fit. Factory ones curve and attach to the car on the ends. Aftermarket ones show a hinge on the end

That being the case, then I have one of each. The factory one (solid mounting) is off the car and ready for a new home. The hinged one is still on the car, which is still on the trailer with sides, so I can't open the doors to take it off.

Yet . . . .

Will keep y'all posted.

This car is long since off the trailer and the cannibals are busy with it. The passenger front door is quite stuck and in the spirit of trying not to destroy any more than I absolutely have to and being that is the best door on the car, the visor is still stuck in place with it.

Pics when it comes off. Wish me luck.

THat car is a drivetrain to me. Other than some glass and trim, there's not a lot that isn't really far gone.

Too bad, because it's a top-of-the-line model.
