Yeah, I was surprised to see another packard at a dealership no less. Exchange rate is 1.27 $ for a euro, so about 16 thousand dollars is what the're asking. good luck with that!
The 2500 is not part of the price, that is an example to calculate financing, 1299 total cost what 2500 down payment...

OK, I'll agree with the rare and only a few known but think paint good and chrome needs partial freshening up may be stretching things a bit. It does have a least one wire wheel--wonder if original Packard or a repro. Still a nice car when fixed up--about my favorite of the 51-4 style.

Hate to disagree Kev, but all senior cars with this style tail light had the backup under the red halves. Pacific used this style as it was considered a senior car.

Not true for seniors, they had the type of backup light described earlier, intergrated with and below the tail/stop lights. Pacific is a senior.

to PackardInfo. I invite you to include your Packard in the Owner Registry together with a pic, any known history and how you acquired it.

A little slip up there on my part. Didn't realise that Gerd's friend Kurt had joined as Kurtl. So whatever the result we'll only have one Pacific in the Registry for Kurt.

With regards to the bumpers on this car, since Kurt was wondering. Which models bumpers will fit? One option would be to re-chrome the ones he has, but to buy better/redone ones from the US...
My guess would be 51-54 All models (junior and senior) for the main bumper section front and rear, and then add the smaller sections that go on top of the bumpers that are on the senior cars.
I think we need an air bridge like Berlin had to supply the packard parts over here
