Funniest thing I have seen online all morning. Yes, we may see some of these cars come up for sale down the road. Then again, who can predict what may come up for sale here in the next few months? Just out of nosiness, did anyone posting in this thread bid on anything for sale? I did.

If you're not having fun, maybe it's your own damned fault.

Currently listed on junkbay:
Rare 54 Packard Pacific. Is sitting for decades. What you see is what you get. Car is sold on a bill of sale Car is sofar complete, missing rear glass. Car must be picked up between 6th and 13th of december in New York Mills,Ny. Any questions gladly answered. Bid only if you can take care for pickup as mentioned. Payment only cash on pickup. The seller is in Germany and his junkbay name is loco..... I'll agree with that. Perhaps he should have abided by his own standards of only bidding if he can pick up the merchandise. Crackpot.

Unfortunately I think the bidders who bought multiple/groups of cars are going to part them out which is the best way to put some of these cars to use. And good for the folks that are missing parts for their projects but bad for the few cars that should really be saved i.e. the 1941 convertible sedan. We'll see what happens.

Yeah, that '41 sedan was nice. I think alot of us are in the same boat... with Thanksgiving days in the past the phrase "eyes bigger than our stomach" is familiar, but for me anyhow, my want to save these cars is bigger than my storage space. The logistics of this is terrible in many respects as well so had to focus.

I wanted to bid on several cars but I tried to get information from several people who went there but got conflicting information. I wanted to drive up but had to work that gets in the way of all the fun stuff. There are several guys who bought things I was interested in maybe i will find out who they are and be able to buy some parts.

Quite a regular

The auction was pretty wild. I've never walked through a private collection like that and the super sketchy building just made it cooler. Had to come home with a few, hopefully can make something of them. I've got about an hour and a half of video footage from the preview I will be putting up on my youtube channel so those of you who couldn't attend can see what all was there.
