For the 1950 which appears to be a fairly decent car, better photos can be found here.

Teak?? Very doubtful - very difficult wood to use in glue ups because of it's high oil content. The areas to be glued should be wiped with a good de-greasing solvent just before gluing in order to have a long lasting joint.
Without a good closeup, it looks a lot like Ash.

That '28 is awesome. Great body style and cool time capsule. I would have a hard time deciding whether or not to keep it original (looks like non-original paint though) or restore.
Price is way high for what it is, IMO. -Kevin

That '28 Six convertible coupe got the critique here on the AACA 'Not Mine' For Sale Forum.

But wait, on the '28, he did include the proper price multiplier term" "Barn Find." Now, how could you lot have overlooked that? "Barn Find" means "dig deep."
I think that there's a 343 sedan *term avoided* for around $20K somewhere in NW GA, which price makes a lot more sense. And yet it was still sitting last I saw it. Our kids won't pay these prices for these cars when the day comes, and then where will they be? The cars, not the kids.

On that 400... the seller says "has been sitting for a number of years".
Well, considering that ground level in the rear of the car has risen to the Packard hexagon on the rims... I feel like it would be hard to even move without damaging something as surely the frame itself has been resting on the ground.

Somewhere out there is (or should be) an Old Car Buyer's Bingo card for rating ads, including key catch phrases that appear in some of this (dreck) copy we are exposed to. If we can't find a card, then we should consider making one.
"Barn Find" "Classic" "Easy restoration" Just to name a few.
