2 1956 Packard 400 2 door coupes. The nice one was taken apart in 1987 for paint and was never put back together just stored indoors ever since. No real rust and I have paperwork on it. It runs and yard drives but has a noisey lifter. Engine holds 45lbs oil pressure have videos of running driving. Trans goes into gears nicely fluid is good color. Very nicely optioned car. Interior will clean up super nice it's still sporting the factory seat cover on the front seat. The parts car is it's twin but minus an engine, but a set of spare heads in the car. California car itself, solid no rust. Transmission is in the trunk. Interior full of extra parts. It has most everything the nice one is missing. Get 2 for the price of one. Both cars have torsion ride auto leveling. $7500 for the pair and they're located in Upstate NY 12025

If only you weren't on the other side of the country. I really don't need another project, but one of my dream cars has been a '56 400 in these exact colors. The whole package just screams 50's...hooded headlights, tailfins and cathedral tailights, bright colors, etc.

If I could I would pick these up for a fun and rewarding project. Some other lucky guy will enjoy them.

I agree that Strawberry Pink was such an iconic color for the time. Reminds me a bit of Jay Leno's '58 Continental Mark III.

Price is now $5500 for the pair.

I want these so bad, but there is just no way I can take on another project right now. Someone is going to get a fantastic set of cars to work with.

I'm honestly kind of interested in these now, but a 13h round trip (twice) is just too far away when there are cars closer to me. (I don't own my own truck/trailer so I would have to both borrow one and drag someone along to help.)

Like Kevin said, someone will be getting a really nice project.
