Yeah unfortunately the as I hear the war effort ate up a lot of old cars. I imagine that the 32's would have been near the nadir of their value at that point too, which wouldn't have helped anything. It's certainly not the only rarity of note, as cars like White steam cars and anything Wills Saint Claire are believed to be rare partly for the same reason. WSC has only 80 cars estimated to exist out of 12,000 made in 1921-27.

Gary, were you inspired by Al Capone's Cadillac in choosing the paint, or is it coincidental?

Strictly coincidence. We sprayed out 6 different cards trying to duplicate what the car was originally. I think we failed but I really like the color. It draws lots of attention at local car shows. I have shown it 15 times and got 13 trophy's. Pretty good ratio.

Not to hijack this thread, but it really is a clown show out there. I wanted to buy and inexpensive pickup truck. HAha Do a search on Craigslist to see lots of examples.

People want a lot of money for hunks of schit. Thankfully prewar cars not as much the case.

If you want a post war Packard, you may come up with something nice for not a lot.

1931 really do your homework. Don't pay more than recent auction results.. There are a lot of auction cars coming up as the owners are expiring sadly.
