Grain-It Technologies has complete kits that can make you dash look as new and they have all the info on the correct patterns for your exact car. It is a lot of work but you can do this yourself, sending it off and having it done is usually $1200 - $1500.00

Here are a couple of original 180's that show the mock burled look with mahogany on the window trim. The second one is interesting because the speedometer is in good condition.
These are the Custom 8 180. The Super 8 160 is not the same. I don't understand the pattern Packard took on dashboards. The 35-36 120 dash looked like a Buick, from 37 through 40 they looked like a 36 Cadillac. In 39 Cadillac went to a ribbon style which Packard followed in 41. In 41 Cadillac went back to the 36-37 style which Packard copied in 42 on the Clipper. Finally, in 1948 Packard developed its own style which everybody liked.
