Yes, I believe that the upper side trim is from a later model (maybe 1951-1952) but the hood ornament looks correct. There were several different ornaments and I believe that the cormorant was optional on any that did not have it as standard equipment.
The ornament is actually a pelican from the Packard heraldry but more often referred to as another seabird, the cormorant. As I only ever owned one Packard in this era and it was a hearse so I cannot advise on the model of this one without knowing the vehicle number.

The rear bumper and guards look to be correct but the tail lights and rear chrome grille is from a 22nd Series Custom 8. Not correct but it doesn't hurt the appearance of the rear.

I added engine pictures and a rear bumper, bumper guard, rear bumper grill, and tail light.
Does the engine appear correct? Are the tail lights incorrect? Is it supposed to have the oval real lights? Do I have the model correct as a Super 8 Club sedan? Thank you Max

The engine number would tell if it is correct or not as they are coded to the year and model. It is located on the driver side of the block and is stamped on a flat boss, probably year the upper edge below the head. Different years and models had it anywhere from above the starter to farther forward but it was always on that side.

23rd series mid-49 began the oval taillights and the chrome on the side moved from the bottom to a point higher on the side although I thought I remembered it going the full length of the side. The wiper knob moved from the dash to the steering column, rear window was a bit more squared off across the bottom.
I grew up with dad's 49/50 coupe/2 door sedan, his was the more basic model with the 288. Beautiful car.

Good luck with your new/old toy. Hope you have years of fun with it. I like the coupes, too, but I do the Clippers from the series before yours. The current driver is a sedan, however. For the moment.
You can get the number from the vehicle ID plate on the driver's side cowl and that would help to narrow down what's supposed to be there. If that plate is missing, there is like the body number tag somewhere on the passenger side firewall. Those numbers are helpful. You'll find a wealth of help here.

If you're not having fun, maybe it's your own damned fault.

the car also appears to be equipped with electromatic clutch. Does it work?

The first 4 digits of the serial number on the plate on top of the cowl will tell the tale:
2295 Eight Club Sedan 2265 Deluxe Eight Club Sedan 2275 Super Eight Club Sedan The car looks quite nice and has been spiffed up with 1951 side trim, 22nd series Custom Eight trim around the tail lights, and aftermarket headlight rims. The engine looks quite correct, but the engine # will tell the tale. It should start with G4 etc. I see the car has the desirable R11 overdrive option and the interesting but seldom functioning automatic clutch "Electromatic" option. We will look forward to hearing more about it.
