When filling the oil bath aircleaner with oil, does the oil go in both the inner and outer Ring?

Just the outer ring up to the fill line stamped on the side of the bottom bowl. Inner ring should be dry so I would guess it was overfilled or else the car or air cleaner was jostled enough to have that much oil spill over into the inner ring.

Well, I found out the inner and outer Rings are vented together by a few holes. Filling both rings to the fill line is about a pint!

Good to know. Different design than ones on my cars.

I was wondering about that as I didn't recall ever being able to fill only one ring.

Getting closer to inspection time....some glitter numbers seem stylish!

Big numbers will be easy to read. Not permanent, but is ok for now.

My daughters still like the green clipper better than the Caribbean....I'm hoping the glitter changes their minds. Haha.

I drove the caribbean around the block two times, and engine and brakes are working well. Idle is 18 inches vacuum, so that seems ok. Brakes also feel good.
I realized my wipers are not working.... If the Arms are not intalled, the motor has enough Power to move the System back and forth. If the Arms are installed, the wiper Arms will go up but not back down.
Isn't there a lube that might help? I would like to get them working somewhat so I can pass inspection, and send to ficken over the Winter.
