Good evening all!

Picked up a ‘38 1605 touring sedan awhile back. It is mostly restored but it was subject to two estate sales and never fully completed ( Maybe name this one Christine 😬?). Needs interior and lots of sorting.

Anyway, need a photo of door weatherstripping profile and thickness if possible. Mine has none. Also, interior rear view mirror and a picture of inside trunk. I’ll stop there for now…

Welcome! My dad has a '38 Super 8 1605 that has been restored. The interior was reupholstered, but not to stock. However, all the info you are looking for should be accurate on the car. The car is about 2 hours away from me and I typically am there at least once a month. Next time I'm down I can get whatever pictures and measurements you want.

The MM catalog doesn't say specifically but it does list around 6 types for the trunk on the 38's. So it should look like at least one of these. Just FYI.

I'm not familiar with those at all so I can't be of more help.

Finishing up the mechanical needs and now on to the “clean” work.
