Last few weeks every time I go to post, I get the red banner about time expired/resubmit. I don't stay on here very long anymore, so I dont; think it's me. It used to show how long your logged on for, but I don't see that now.
Has something changed I'm not aware of?
ps: it happened when I went to post this.

I get something similar and it does appear random. Sometimes it and the captcha bit pops up even if the visit and reply is brief and the site was only open for a few seconds. Other times it takes longer but still within what I think would be the login limits unless the limit has been really shortened.

On occasion when seeing the notice I copy the reply to be able to repaste after logging in again only to find that according to the site I am still logged in. That must be the case because after going back to the post and opening a new reply window without relogging in a paste and submit will usually work without issue.

That's been happening to me too for a long time but not often. When it does, I learned not to try again as doing so invariably gets me locked out for a couple hours where I can't access the site at all. I copy what I had written, then log out and back in, paste it back in and submit. Any photos, I often add after posting by editing and adding them. When it happens it doesn't seem to matter how long I had been logged in or how much was written +so, as a Web programmer myself, I can't seem to make much sense of the problem and xoops, the software package on which this site is based, seems to have a mind of its own sometimes!

I'm pretty sure it's related to one's IP changing in the middle of a session.

I got a email that said this message was taken down by info@packardinfo?
Apparently that was not correct?
Is there some type of hacking going on here?

ps: not sure if related, but I noticed the "remember me" box is being unchecked somehow. So I have to recheck each login.

If Remember Me uses a cookie, you have cookies enabled and they’re not set to clear when you close the browser, then you shouldn’t have to check it each time. It’s normal to not show checked all the time even after you’ve selected it when logging in.

I haven't changed anything/settings, but did do a browser upgrade this week and those have been known to cause me issues, but this started last week?
I didn't know if a site issue for me or common, so I posted.

Seems to be resolved now.

Today, when I logon, it says I have 2 messages.
When I go to messages, it says I have none?
So somethings amiss. No biggy but "aggervating".
And the exceeded session time is back.

Another issue.

Can't open up the list of "Who is online". Hovering the cursor over the title, turns from an "arrow" to an "I" and then doesn't respond to clicking of the mouse.
