I had to make my rear seat frame by cutting down a junk 1948 rear seat. You can measure an original car seat and just make one.

Probably an excellent suggestion or be open to finding one from any other year that has a similar shape. Aside from weather, time of year, and the difficulty of shipping, with the lack of response it could be if a car has not already been taken apart 37 may have become one of those years where even a poor condition intact car would be a candidate for something other than parts. As evidenced by the number of photos in the archive, of all the years 37 seem to extraordinarily popular with at least double if not almost triple the number of photos vs any other year.

I have at least 4 rear seat bottoms from 1937 Jr Sedans. With and without upholstery. Like forementioned Shipping is a hassle. You can call me at 256.558.8986 and we can discuss. The only money involved would be in the shipping costs. Don Koller

1936 and 1937 120's Are what we like best. But we also like all other Packards too.

If domestic (US to US) and if you have a larger airport nearby, I recently used Alaska Air Freight for a large part and it was very reasonable. There is also Greyhound and Fastenal although with the latter, they do not do cross country.

For what it is worth I ignored the old broken/rusty spring seat in mine and replaced the whole assembly with high density urethane foam and a plywood base with webbed openings below the two sitting locations. I used 4" thick plank and cut a series of slabs in cross section that matched the original dimensions and glued them together. 11 pieces across and much more comfortable.
