There is a 1929 shop manual (626) in the Literature Archive. If you've never worked on a steering box before, I suggest getting assistance from someone who has. Procedures, both for diagnosis and adjustment, aren't always obvious, and they differ from make to make and model to model.

Where is the play? at the shaft that goes through the frame or is the ball on the bottom worn? Bob
