Thanks! But, I'm sure he would cringe if he saw my chisel technique! Those pieces of wood are pretty weird. They just act as a filler between all those different top pieces.

Couple of things total. I stripped and paint all the metal in the package tray area and the sheet metal flange where the top tacking strip attaches to.
Once that was cured, I installed the new tacking strip. I used a plastic tacking strip as it apparently holds staples better and doesn't absorb water like the old stuff did. Instead of rivets, I used screws from the back side through the old rivet holes. With the tacking strip in place I installed the boot snaps. These are temporary as they will have to come out once the top material goes on. The old boot fits pretty good and will make good pattern later on. Its soiled and dry rotted, so not a keeper. My wife requested carpet in the trunk. So Happy Wife, Happy Life. Also, it covers up all the dynamat. This was the same carpet I used up front. Lastly, I used some 000 steel wool and mothers polish and managed to turn the steel bow and trunk rack emblem pretty presentable. I had little hope they would come out this well both had heavy green/rusty patina on them. Yes, I'm missing two, and one of the ones I have is pretty dinged. I'll measure them in the morning and report back.
Thanks!

Dell, they appear to be about 34-1/8" in length.
Thanks again!

Today was an under the car day.
Changed the engine oil, and mangled plug bolt. Changes the transmission oil, it was black and past its prime. Changes the differential oil, it didn't look that bad, but sweet Jesus that plug bolt must have been installed with an impact. This little HF transfer pump made filling the transmission a breeze. The Jag oil filter is pretty long and pretty much smashed into the vacuum advance on the distro. Changing that filter is hard as there is zero room to get a wrench on the bolt because how close the inner fender is and all the radiator hoses. So I ordered a spin on filter adapter. This should hopefully make future oil changes much easier.

Kev, what type of oil did you use in the differential? I hope it was not the GL-1 type pictured.

The Gl-1 90W was for the transmission. I used 85W-140 for the Diff.

So I have the B-Pillar post done and even got the stainless weatherstrip retainer bend and in place.
Just a question in regards to spacing and fitament of that weather strip in relation to the window in the up position. As you can see the fit of the wood is pretty close to the window. So much so that the stainless retainer hits the frame. This is the same in the version I made and also on the original pattern I am working from. Can someone take a couple of pics of their 37 115/120 or 36 120, as I need to see how this all orients. Perhaps the pillar doesn't fold that far forward normally? Perhaps the window is rolled too far up? Also, I would like to see what the profile is on that rubber piece. Thanks! Here is a shot of my B Pillar fit. The unit can be brought back and forth by sliding the top rail fore and aft at the screws that attach the front bracket to the header bow. Note that the screws go through slots instead of simple round holes.
You can also adjust the stop height of your door window to help add gap at the bottom of the B Pillar, although you want it to match the top of your vent window frame too, so there is another adjustment where you can adjust the pitch of the roll up window at the short top rail that the roller fits into. It is a delicate balance. Bob J.
