The nice, new trunk coating should help it go a little faster too!

Ernie, curious about your Model A. Does it get out as often as the Packard? I know this is a Packard site, but maybe a few words from time to time on your Model A adventures would be interesting to read about. Are you familiar with Paul Shinn? He has many videos on the care and feeding of Model As on YouTube.

Nice trip here in Switzerland, after finishing restoration. Not completely reliable but will find last little problems soon I hope.
Thanks to all the people that helped me directly or indirectly on this forum to achieve the rebirth of this gem!

That is a handsome car. I'm glad you have it operational. I have an older Packard that I don't fully trust yet, either. i hope with more driving and more fiddling, I will get it to the point it and I trust each other fully. Thanks for posting.

Good Morning...I've been driving Miss Prudence for 12 years around the Valley of the Sun in Arizona. She is a 1949 23rd series and is great fun to take to breakfast and most of my trips to stores in the colder months. In the summer, I'm up about 5am to give her some weekly exercise. Were both comfortable up to about 95 degrees. After that, she goes back in the garage about 6am. She has 53,000 miles that I think are original. Occasionally she makes a 100 mile round trip...but that's it. Breakfast this morning, and a lady just walked up to her and took several photographs...I just watched from my seat in the coffee shop Over Easy. Ernie in Arizona
