Just measure the wheelbase, that will identify the model.
1929 would be the Sixth Series, and the models are numbered with a 3-digit number beginning with 6. A 626 would have a 126" wheelbase; other models are the 633 (133" wb), 640 (140" wb), and 645 (145" wb). With the exception of a very limited production model known as a 626 Speedster, the 626 and 633 are the more junior models with a smaller 8-cylinder motor, the 640 and 645 are the senior models, larger displacement motor, etc. Again with the exception of the 626 Speedster (only a handful produced), the 626 and 633 are known as the Standard Eight models, the 640 as the Custom 8, and the 645 as the DeLuxe 8. Yes, a wire spoke wheel was available for the 6th Series but I'm not certain those on your car are authentic.

Thanks for the info. I will measure the wheelbase the next chance I get. I have a feeling there are a few things not original. The flying lady on the radiator doesn't look right either.

The wheels look good. (Buffalo?)
The hood ornament looks a little too large to me.

You have a great looking car! No need to change a thing. Packard did not have a radiator cap that style in 1929. You can still get a copy of the Packard approved 1929 accessories catalogue on line, fun to see. The rear trunk is beautiful, but not period correct. They were wood, cover in a black canvas like material with ornate scaplated pointy chrome coners.
Glad to see another 1929 has survived. Enjoy!

On the radiator cap, wasn't it sort of a given in the 20-early 30s time frame an owner could buy a radiator cap from outside vendors in all sorts of styles or themes to suit his wants. I have seen photos of some fairly outlandish caps and that one is tame by comparison.
