What is your engine's operating temperature?
? Generally speaking, high oil pressure is not a problem, but if extreme, it can cause increased oil consumption. It's possible that an internal oil line is plugged or an insert bearing (s) spun or installed wrong, but that's very unlikely

The car has a motometer and did not run hot. Next time I will use a laser for the temp.

A cold running engine will show higher than normal oil oil pressure. Engines need to run at about 180 F at the coolant outlet. Up to 200 F is OK.
