That's a beautiful car, and more. It's well worth the effort you're putting into it!
Red carpet for the steps?

Getting started on some clean up in the cab….I have the new foot board cut out. I need to add some jute insulation round the edges when it arrives.
![]() I’ll be taking the toe board out soon to get it cleaned up as well. In the meantime, I’m trying to figure out how the seat frame comes out. I can see two bolts on each side at the front. It looks like those are all that hold the front down. ![]() I’m not seeing how the rear of the seat frame comes out. Here is picture the rear corner. ![]() This is a limousine, so the seat does not have any adjustments.

I think it's those screws on top of the seat frame.

Thanks, Kevin.
Also, on further inspection, I don’t think the two bolts toward the front are part of the seat frame. There are a series of screws on the outside of the front metal frame piece.

Okay…I am yielding for today. Getting the front seat out is not easy. Here is where I’m at:
1. There are six small screws in the metal frame at the front that have to be removed - DONE 2. There are two long wood screws on each side that have to be removed - DONE 3. There are four shorter wood screws that are horizontal in the back of the frame to be removed - DONE 4. On each rear corner, there are four wood screws to be removed - Driver’s side is DONE. Passenger side has one that won’t budge. 5. Those are all of the screws I can see and the frame has loosened up a bit, but it must be anchored somewhere else still. Otherwise, I should be able to jostle it around a bit by now. Any ideas? ![]() This picture shows the four screws on the driver’s side. Mirror image for the passenger side. I have one that i can’t get to budge on the passenger side. ![]()

Most seat back cushions lift up and off the back frame. There usually a couple of screws underneath that retain it to prevent it from poping off on its own. That's how both my 37 rumble seat and 54 back seat cushions come out.
