I happened to spot another “Packup” hidden in the V4#18 Service Letter (1930). Looks very practical.

Looks like some good progress there Ross!
On the unpainted trim, I never thought about that for my car but I know cleaning my worn trim will strip off all the paint anyway and I'll have to redo it with a paint marker. So I think I'll test slapping one side back on the car unpainted and see how it looks.

A day in the life at Speedwell. First, if you must use a floor jack to remove your Ultramatic, please place a piece of wood under the pan.
Second, who knew that relentlessly allowing your Ultra to slip could produce used clutch plates that resemble modern sculpture. Third, a few of you may enjoy this little 63 Lark pickup we ginned up for a customer.

Is it me or is the gasket area on that pan also warped from over-torquing?
Looks like they supported it with a bottle jack...?

The Lark lover's heart will beat faster when he receives the car keys - there can be no doubt about that. It may even be the fulfillment of a lifelong dream.
It takes a keen eye for vehicle design to give the car such a large rear window. The current model is a nice further development of the ->basic idea, five years ago. Would you have preferred to use a Wagonaire as a base model?

A Wagonaire would have saved a lot of work on the tailgate area but good ones are too expensive to cut up for a novelty and would have not given me the lines that I wanted. The base for this build was very reasonably priced--a California desert car with an interior like toasted bread crumbs but a body that needed zero rust repair. I was able to use the grill and bumpers without replating.
