48 Packard 288 fuel pump installation problem
#1

See User information
The pump is an AC model 506
Manufactured for 1939-1954?
This pump model is the only pump made for the 288
I bought it from Seattle Packard whom I have high confidence
Apparently the problem is that I do not have the high end of the cam in the right position .
I will add an 1/8” gasket and a little lubrication to the arm and keep trying to line the cam up carefully
