Watch the new movie Marlowe....that's all i have to say.....decent movie...but I watched it for the cars (Packards) and enjoyed it just for that.

although I find it hard to believe someone with that much money in the film would be driving around in a 115c convertible coupe.....more like a super 8 or 12.....

There is a Packard parked on the street in front of Steve McQueen's apartment in the movie "Bullitt".

Watching PBS Passport Classic Movie "Topper Takes a Trip", I saw a pretty rare 1939 Packard Darrin.
mktx.com/packard/TopperTrip39Darrin.MOV
It appears to have a 1940 grille, but 1939 headlights, unknown parking lights.

Topper’s trip was to Paris. I’m not sure if this is a Hollywood set or actually Paris, but Darrin customized cars there before moving to Hollywood. This may be one of his first Darrin Victorias.

Not enough video to do a screen capture from farther away but here’s what I got. It has no hood trim and, as pointed out, Buick-like parking lights.

Sorry if this is a picture in print rather than in a movie, but a concert is close. I was surprised to see this advertisement in my local newspaper. What is that 48-50?

So I don’t know the exact source of this image that I came across, but this is actress Anita Page and I’d bet anything that’s a 443 runabout (like the one I own!).

Surprised to see the pantograph extension. Those devices were popular in the day, often seen in old movies holding a candlestick phone and sometimes holding a shaving mirror or other personal item but that is the first I remember seeing one mounted in a car. You hardly see them used or even for sale anymore and I wonder if that particular car mirror application would even be legal today.

Watching PBS “The House on Haunted Hill.” Guests for a spooky party arrive in funeral cars led by a post War Packard hearse. Happy Halloween!
