I count 6 spark plugs as well. Unless that's a picture of a different engine.

OMG! First time I pulled off all the carpet that was protecting the engine and started taking pictures. Didn’t even really take a good critical look at the engine, just trying to get a good picture of the engine numbers to see if they matched anything on the title. I can’t believe I didn’t notice! Thanks to all of you for your input, and try not to laugh too hard. Probably doesn’t matter that the old title called it an eight. The DMV folks didn’t really like having just the body number. Too used to the modern VIN numbers.

Actually glad this thing is apparently all one vehicle, just in pieces.

Got enough issues with my other Packards. Trying to find a picture of them as I originally got them. I finally had to get working on them again in order to make room for what we no know for sure is a 110.

I count almost 7 spark plugs. Head up, chest out. We like to laugh, but especially at ourselves. Welcome at PackardInfo.com!

I don’t think you need to concern yourself with the extra letter as it was very common to add them for running changes. It was likely there from the factory! Somewhere on this site is a chart of engine details but I can never find it other than by chance so didn’t even look this time.
