This came out of a car that sat 4-5 years. Usually when I drain bad gas its brown but maybe its green because of ethanol in it.

Does it smell like old gas? It looks like Prestone! (I would be tempted to test with a rad gauge to see if it is anti-freeze for some reason!) Looks like your tank is pretty clean though as it is not clouded with rust or anything.

Someone here in the past posted about finding green gas. Not sure what the eventual cause/resolution was.

Perhaps the tank was filled on St. Patty's Day!

Perhaps if the float has sunk to the bottom of the tank AND there is a large accumulation of water in the tank from using E10 and having the alcohol/water come out of solution from excessive condensation, then it would corrode the float green and stain the gas.
