Be sure the pressure can escape readily. The radiator won't stand high pressure.

I will 100% stand behind this method of flushing. I just finished up a weeklong soak with thermocure. Drained it all out, come out very dark green and cloudy, started flushing it. When I got clear water running out, I hooked up the compressed air and did a few rounds of fill and blow. I got more dark water out that was hiding in there somewhere. When no more funk came out I refilled with 50/50 antifreeze and got her hot. Wouldn't go over 165F, granted it's chilly here in Wisconsin.
