Likely just monitor differences and the car being in the shade ...my comment is that car looks darker than the last 37 120 that I had painted almond green, which is also a modern Aston Martin color.

Many months ago, when I was breaking loose something on the car with socket wrench, I felt something pop in my wrist, and it hurt for a day or so and then was OK. Well since then that same pain has flared up several times with the last couple of weeks being nearly constant.

So went to see an Ortho yesterday and based up the initial X-Ray results there is a bone that has rotated. Which points to a torn ligament. I have an MRI scheduled on Monday to confirm. Possible surgery needed based on results.

Sadly I'm right handed, so that temporarily hinders anything that requires muscle. So the brace is just to help with keep it straight until further notice.

Uggh…that’s no fun. But, better to take care of it now than have even bigger problems later. Hope it isn’t too major to get corrected you have a speedy recovery.

It's surprising how well you'll be able to use your left hand for keyboard work, after a bit of practice, if an operation is required. Of course, being in that line of work, you will probably be doing it using voice commands!

Compression test on the Jag motor. The 190 readings seam high for a supposedly 8:1 motor. Dry on left, Wet on right.

Looks like they all need rings, which is no unexpected. Cylinder 1 (which is the rear on a Jag motor) needs some valve work.

Plugs look fairly decent. Not too rich, sooty or oily.

The expensive part of these motors is going through the head if it needs all new valve guide and seays or corrosion repair. Apartently to replace the bronze guides involves having to go back and forth between heating aluminum head in an oven.

The bottom end is actually the cheap part.
