That poor 110. I guess we should record the Vehicle Number and add it to the registry as scrapped, for future reference.

That being the case, I have several titles for Packards that no longer exist so should they have registry entries too?

Yes, I've done that over the years with other cars i've come across just to record that those vehicles are now gone.

Few new postings:

1942 Clipper Eight Sedan. Unrestored and quite rusty, floors and trunk pan are shot but the rest of the body looks pretty decent. The car is complete and being a '42, it is certainly a rare one. Probably better as a parts car. Car came from a recent estate sale. Seller asking $1,600 which may be reasonable. Iowa:

1950 Eight Sedan. Think it is a Standard Eight. Abandoned restoration project; car is partially disassembled. Body looks pretty decent. Asking $3K. Iowa:

1955 Patrician. Ad states engine runs. Needs cosmetic restoration. Car looks relatively solid and complete though interior is somewhat rough and it really needs paint. Asking $5,500. Alabama:

If I was closer I would go for the Clipper, even if for just the handful of parts that look good and match my 41. That said, hate to see a rare car not get a good and proper restore.

I thought I’d put this one out there…It isn’t in the Packard Info registry and was just recently added to the Packard Club roster.

ClI55er and I both messaged the seller as they originally thought they had a standard 120 touring sedan. We let them know it’s actually a 138CD touring sedan. They never responded, but did re-list the car with a little better description, though they still list it with a V8…it’s not.

It seems pricey, but looks like a nice car.

The following 1940 110 conv 1939 Super Eight were posted here a few pages back are now being listed as part of an auction on Friday, January 24, 2025 in Auburn Township, Ohio. You can find more information are pictures of the cars and extra parts here.

Quote:
1940 110 Convertible Coupe. Very rough, but possibly restorable. Body panels do not look like they are beyond saving. Car is partially disassembled and there is a big pile of parts to go with it. Looks like there may be some 120 stuff in there, including a pair of side mount fenders. Seller says he has all parts to complete the car. Will require a significant effort, so not for the faint hearted. Asking $3,500. Ohio:

1939 1703 Super Eight Sedan. Same seller as above. Very solid, unmolested original car. Shows patina but I think you could get away with leaving this one pretty much alone and enjoy it as a nice driver. Not running and will require some work to put back on the road. Looks very elegant in black with the dual mounts. These '39 Super Eights are impressive cars. Years ago, I had a friend in the hobby who owned one and it was used in the wedding for another friend of mine. Asking $8K.
