Gerd,

Gone back and edited my earlier post. Think that removes any misunderstanding.

What happened to the side mount covers and the stone guard? Those always were on the car and are not easy to acquire.

Sidemount covers are on the car, and were sold with the car. They are not the same covers that Jepson installed on the car. I found an original set of Packard covers, with original Lyon-Packard emblems, and put those on the car.

The grille stone-guard was removed, as (most agree) that it destroys the looks of the car. The extra rear bumper/tail guard was also removed for the same reason.
