Looking for a source for these window channel felts which is used on rear channel of the convertible doors. The edges appear to use a felt with a square profile. The pads on bottom of the channel are flat.

I simply used 1/4" felt from the material store and cut new pieces using one ragged remnant that was the closest to intact as a pattern, then tucked them back into the window guide frame pockets. Being an anti-rattle it is never seen, so the colour is not an issue, though I used natural, and the new felt works quite well. Sorry, it was an area I did not take a picture of and is now buried in her door assemblies.

Pulled the windshield. It is for sure a two-person job. It has to come straight up, or it will bind. The hardest part was finding all the fasteners. From the outside, it's not obvious how far the down inside the body that it attached and there are four bolts facing rearward. One is hidden by the door hinge and is only accessible when the door is closed.

Also there are about 1/2 dozen bolts along the bottom edge of the windshield reachable from underneath the dash.

Not only does it need to come straight up, it's also heavier than it looks.

It's hard to see in this picture because of the glare from the overhead lights, but in person you can see the break between the original body color (1), and the super dark brown (2) that the factory painted the dash structure on all 1937 Junior cars. Number (3) is the rattle can dark brown that I painted the exposed dash struture when I got the car.

Number (1) is the original Buckingham Gray which is still shiny, and was protected on the remains of the windshield to cowl seal.

The dash structue is often mistakenly painted body color by folks during restoration, but this is incorrect. They were all this dark brown which almost looks black. Also the steering column from the steering wheel down to the steering box was also this same brown. Except on CD models where the column was chrome.

What is the windshield frame made of? Is it pot metal, or brass or steel?

I can attest to the dark brown dash. I was sure mine was black until i put a strong flashlight directly on it. Then, it is clear that it is a VERY dark brown.

Since this one was fully rechromed in the recent past it is hard to say. I know that magnets stick to it. But its a fairly heavy casting.

Since the frame is made of multiple pieces, they may not all me the same.

Flackmaster would know for sure, as I know he has had them rechromed.

It's die cast pot metal but I believe the top piece is steel.
