That looks great. Good thing you have a cover for the Clipper! I imagine that was quite the mess while you were grinding off the paint. Did you use the Contour tool?

Yes, I bought a 40 grit stripping drum for it, and was able to do everything you see there with a single drum.
As the drum wears down, it's constantly exposing fresh media. It just works at a bit of a slower pace then a grinder with a stripping disc. But it is way more gentle. It leaves a great brushed look on panel if you're going in the same direction. I'll probably go over the entire car with an 80grit da to put the right tooth on it for the epoxy primer. But first it will get a wipe down with some metal prep to kill off any rust in the pitted areas and ward off flash rust while I finished stripping the firewall, interior, and rough out any of the remaining body work.
