Yes car wired 6 volt to specs… could always bump engine without starting by pushing starter with key off…everything you said is what is going on..so it must be the starter button…I can get to it…and take a look..tks for the advise…

Of course I’m sure you realize that when you pour oil into cylinders where valves are open, it will disappear so it will take quite a few small rotations, more oil and waiting, and more oil over and over before it soaks enough to free the valves and/or rings. It takes patience and lots of it. When it comes time to try to start it, do so only with fresh gasoline or else you’ll end up back where you started or worse. I know this from experience!
