Have been unable to find a distributor cap and rotor locally for the 54 Cavalier 327. Would also like points. Does anyone have the brand and number for the cap and rotor as well as points. The locals probably have them but just don't have Packard in the computer. Thanks, Tommy

I got mine from NAPA for my '53 Cavalier. Use the Parts Cross-Reference on the left to find the correct part numbers.

No, they typically don’t have the numbers so you would have to bring in and match your original OR look at the cross-reference list here on this site. Some cars had Delco-Remy (my 1954 Patrician does) while others have Autolite so you need to know which you’re looking for and whether your distributor is the original or not.

Here is what I used in my 327, when I get jobber parts in I tear off the box top and stick them in my 3 ring binder for the car. I hope it helps the next time they need to be replaced or someone else after I am gone!
Although the cap does work, I had to ream the I.D. a bit to allow a proper fit onto the distributor, no issue with its performance afterward though.
