Some aspects of engine work are done. To move forward with other engine work, the block will need to be on a stand. Here is a video of that process. Enjoy!

The mounting bracket you made is awesome. Seems like it will work very well, and looks like you have it mounted closer to the center of gravity than mine. I kinda wish I would've gotten the gear driven stand to flip the engine over.
Also, watching that machine straighten the edge of the plate was mesmerizing.

Thanks! Glad it is finally mounted. We've been moving the pallet with the block from here to there and back for a few weeks. The Cincinnati Shaper is one of the funnest tools to watch in the shop. Milling machines replaced most of what a shaper can do. Although, the shaper still comes in handy for a few things.
