Looking through the 1936 Accessory Brochure that Don B donated to the website, I noticed this accessory Rumble Seat windshield:
![]() I've never seen one, and I'm not sure how well it would fold down and away so the rumble seat lid would actually close, especially on the 120 bodies. But here is a 36 120B Convertible Coupe at the Warren Museum with one. It is definitely a bit odd and out of proportion with the short front windshield. I imagine it was something aftermarket. ![]() ![]()

Finding other aftermarket units, I think it looked similar to this.
The windshield folds down and then slides forward under the package tray out of the way so the rumble seat can close. To open, it would slide all the way back to where the vertical legs are and then swing up. ![]() It's still a bit cumbersome, and I am sure you will lose space. The rumble seat opening on the Junior cars are not exactly large to being with. J.H. Tonneau Shield Co. produced these.

I wonder how many of those they sold. It looks like it would have been quite a hassle to deal with.

Indeed. The Auburn Convertible Sedan we drove recently in New Zealand had one for the backseat passengers. It was great for the wind and looked great, but it was pain to have to loosen the clamps to allow the wings to fold in so you could enter or exit the rear passenger seat, and that car had rear doors!
I can't imagine the aggravation of dealing with that in a rumble seat! A pair of fold up Brooklands Screens would look sporty back there.
