I have a bunch of parts available for free—as long as they DON'T get scrapped. I’d really like to see them saved in case someone needs them someday. I'm located in the Portland, Oregon area. All parts are from a 1953 Mayfair.

• One trunk

• Both front fenders

• Both rear quarter panels

• One passenger door

• Two hydraulic pumps

• One starter motor

• One tote full of trim and miscellaneous parts

I don't need any parts, but just like to comment that you don't see messages like this, often enough. So Thank You!

I agree with the sentiment of appreciation for the offer to the community. As a newbie and mechanical novice, and seeing a drop in people being custodians of old cars that are less inclined to hot rod or resto-mod, I have wondered what will happen with the next generation and the cars surviving. As I become more capable I hope to do my best to maintain and keep life in more of these. My kids have a general idea of my wishes should they need/want to sell my cars. Personally, I would rather them be given away to a good home than sold to sit and not be driven or appreciated.
