Now that I look I see you have a set of CS 777A, but they are not the right ones. Do you have an Auto-Lite distributor?

I do have have an Auto-Lite distributor. I cleaned the points up better now that I see what they're supposed to look like. Still some pitting. I'll put it on along with the new parts.

For now I would just worry about cleaning up where the points ride on shaft. Put a tiny bit of grease on there as well. At some point in the future it may be a good idea to pull your distributor and clean it all up as it looks a bit crusty in there. The parts cross reference shows your points as Echlin CS-16 for your Auto-Lite distributor. NAPA can get those for you.

Okay I'll do that. Dielectric grease?
Which screw needs to be loose and which one tight while setting the points? I can't seem to get a gap of .17 with my feeler gauge. It's too tight. Cs-16 unavailable. Cs-16 provided me with cs206 which is wrong.

A little dielectric will be good.
Here's a video on setting points, a bit different style points, but same principle. youtu.be/BC3nmuXdEuI?si=AQ6Wuv-o-xQC5UYk

Thank you. Video helped. I was able to set gap to .17 on the points. I replaced the condenser, rotor, and cap. I put the inline spark tester on cylinder one. I still don't have spark.
I'm going to check the point gap again and then follow the other procedure on this thread.
