Gasoline vapor is a little heavier than air, and it will tend to hug the floor. It would probably be safer, and just as effective, to mount the exhaust fan, switch, and air exit point well above the floor, and have an inlet source of outside air near the floor.

I've been wondering how to do this too at my shop without defeating the purpose of the spray foam insulation! So far I've not come up with any solutions other than putting in an as-needed under-door fan of some sort rather than a full-time one. Here is a DYI one but I would prefer to buy one already made.

Have you considered a heat exchanger? 🤔 I assume a cheaper option exists, but like this: sylvane.com/broan-b110h65r-ai-series-110 ... uie9WlujeLG8kClT_ZqAM7tf6MbqY&gQT=1

Thank you all for the options listed. I've researched them all, but I feel as though the exhaust fan will work best for my situation. I'll be making a purchase soon, and I'll provide photos back on this thread and a report of how it went.
