Four 1955 1956 Clipper Hubcaps, I'm not sure if these are repro's or NOS? They have never been installed on a car that I can tell and have been wrapped in newspaper since 2001. You won't be disappointed, $150 plus actual shipping to your zip code.

Nice but I do not believe they were used in 1953 which had a smooth type like a bowler hat.

I think 1955, as if they followed the same pattern used in 1954 with the full wheel covers, they reversed the colors, Black Hex and Red ring.

Were those 55-56 ones an accessory for those years? I have never seen them on a car and I'm also unsure how they would even snap on unless they're the same OD as the original type.

All of the 5 on 4 1/2" wheels used on some 54 Clippers and all 55-56 Clippers accept those caps. They snap onto the three nibs outside of the bolt circle and were the standard cap. The full discs were an accessory. I love the plain jane look:

For 1956 Clipper, if it used that type of cover, it must have been only on the entry-level Deluxe as the Super and Custom had full wheel covers.
