I agree, just pour some water in the suspect areas with the door card off, and see what happens. I would bet the vent window since it completely relies on soft rubber to seal. The actual shape of the rubber will slightly channel it into the car.


Robin, this is off a 63 Futura. Note the holes. An innovation vs. 1956...


My front vent window seals have a couple of weep holes, but the rear vent windows do not.

I'm unsure if water is getting in between the seal and the vent window, or if maybe it's between the seal and the door. Seems like if it was between the door and the seal it wouldn't be able to get to the door panel, but maybe.

I'll get it all figured out and let you know what all I do.
