Good job! I wish I could pass on mine so easily as I could really use the space but I guess the difference is that I'm asking actual money for them.

Right? Well even for my 352 I posted on the local Packard Facebook for someone to just make any offer on it and haven't gotten a single response yet.

Are you sure this is a 327? '40->'41 didn't have this size engine.

Mal - one of them was a 1953 327. The other turned out to be a 1940-41, not a 327. Set of two engines. The '40 engine was complete with all accessories and manual transmission. I was seriously considering them but would've been a hard sell for my wife.

The "buyer" (dude that picked them up for free) ended up being a local artist who makes engine dioramas. I told him to have fun with the 327, but highly advised him to put the 40 up for sale, as it will sell to the right buyer whole.

No one even realized specifically what those until the past day until I searched the part numbers off the photos. The seller had told everyone that they were both late model 327's and you know how the value on those go. I had to convince him to pull it out of the scrap bin that he had already thrown it into... hopefully it's still in decent shape.

Then either a 282 or a 356. If a 356 in reasonable condition, someone has hit a home run!
