Alternative Design Accessory for Senior Packards from 1935-1937

-Most often found on open cars (Convertible Sedan, Convertible Coupe Phaeton, Victoria); In the early 70's, a chat I witnessed (as a young whippersnapper) between my dad and Bob Turnquist, where he mentioned that if you are a passenger in an open car, you often stand up and reach around to open the door using the outside handle just as often as using the interior handle; your hand could slip off the standard straight handle and Packard introduced the curve to act as a stop for your outstretched hand; it also offered a "safer look" to take away the "dagger" concern some customers expressed with the standard straight design.

-Available as an option on all 1935-37 Senior Models
